FADE IN:
Ext. Street/train station - Night
DAN, 19, is standing at the deserted platform wearing a zipped up leather jacket with a Chelsea FC scarf wrapped around his neck, lazily smoking a cigarette.
AARON, 15, wearing ripped jeans and a buttoned up checkered shirt, loudly listening to music through a large pair of headphones, walks into the stop.
Aaron notices Dan standing at the side of the stop and sits down.
Aaron looks up at Dan.
Dan notices this and gives him a quick thumbs up.
From the opposite side of the station to Aaron enters, TERRY, 17, dressed in a grey Nike tracksuit with the hood up, with “BLUES 4 LIFE” tattooed across his knuckles.
He looks at both of the teenagers then sits down on the bench next to Aaron.
Terry looks around at the two teenagers while shuffling his hands around in the front pocket of his hoodie.
He takes a glance up at Dan, still smoking, then pulls out a packet of cigarettes from his pocket.
Terry continues to stare at Dan for a few seconds, the he eventually decides to stand up and ask him for a lighter.
Terry
‘Excuse me mate. You got a lighter?’
Dan looks slightly hesitant, but pulls out a cigarette packet, takes a lighter from it, then screws up the packet and tosses it to the floor.
Dan
‘Yeah sure man.’
Terry takes the lighter, lights his cigarette, then passes it back to Dan.
Terry
‘Cheers.’
Terry goes to back the cigarette packet back in his pocket, but stares it for a quick second.
He looks at Dan, deciding to offer him a cigarette.
Terry
‘You want one mate?’
Dan looks surprised, but accepts Terry’s offer.
Dan
‘Ah, yeah cheers.’
He takes the cigarette from Terry, then puts it in his back pocket.
Terry, notices Dan’s scarf then decides to spark up a conversation about Chelsea.
Terry
‘What you think of the new manager then?’
Dan
‘Can’t complain I suppose, apart from that lose against QPR, haha.’
Terry
‘My dad’s a QPR supporter, so I didn’t hear the end of it.’
Dan
‘Haha, at least we didn’t do as badly as United that weekend.’
Terry
‘City are top of the table now.’
Dan
‘We’re fourth on the table, not bad I suppose.’
Terry
‘We’re still being beating by Newcastle though, haha.’
The Conversation dies down as the two boys have a look around the platform.
A train then enters in the platform.
Terry takes one more drag on his cigarette then throws it to the floor and stamps it out.
Terry steps towards the doors of the carriage and steps on.
Dan quickly does the same.
Aaron walks towards the carriage, but it’s scrabbling around in his pocket for a travel card.
He pulls out a scruffy looking ticket and steps onto the carriage.
INT./ Empty train carriage.
Terry walks onto the carriage and notices a group of his friends, all dressed in tracksuits and hoodies sitting down.
He walks down the carriage and sits with them.
Dan, noticing the group, goes to sit down.
One of the members of the group, trying to wind up Dan, sticks his leg out.
Dan steps over the leg, trying to show confidence goes and sits straight down.
Terry looks over to Dan and gives him a quick nod of reassurance.
Aaron, notices the group, and begins to fidget and panic.
The group see Aaron and begin to stare him out.
He sits down on the same side as the Hoodies.
They begin to taunt and throw objects over at Aaron.
Terry looks over at Dan, and sees an uneasy expression on his face.
The group hear the music from Aaron’s headphones, look at around and laugh each other, then carrying on insulting him.
Dan looks at the situation, looks to Aaron then throws a quick glance to Terry.
Terry looks worried as he frantically looks between the boys.
